Our Year-End Fundraising Campaign Theme: Raising Up Young Servants Leaders!

Ministry of Reconciliation is committed to come alongside educators and parents in our communities, to help students excel spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally and relationally, equipping them to become Young Servant Leaders!
One of the initiatives to accomplish our commitment was implemented October 13th – 15th 2021.
We facilitated School Assemblies and Comeback Outreach Events in 7 Greater Cleveland Schools, partnering with the National Ministry of Sports World, Fellowship of Christian Athletes FCA, All School Assembly Program Ohio ASAP and Community Churches that have Adopted Schools. There was no cost to the Schools! The participating schools were:
- John F. Kennedy HS
- Maple Heights HS
- Cleveland Heights HS
- Andrew J. Rickoff K-8
- Montessori K-8
- Daniel E. Morgan K-8
- Dike School of the Arts K-8
Our Guest Speaker: Sports World’s Former NFL Player Steve Grant did a tremendous job of engaging the students, helping them understand why and how to make right choices! At the After School Comeback Outreach Events, Steve and I shared the Gospel. Young hearts were opened by God, as students made decisions to accept Christ as their Savior and Lord! Some rededicated their lives to Christ! Steve repeated a very important Sports World statement in the School Assemblies that impacted the hearts of the students: “You‘re not born a Winner, You’re not born a Loser, You’re born a CHOOSER!” Praise God many of them made some Positive Choices!
- 774 students attended the School Assemblies!
- 314 students made the choice to be Drug Free!
- 272 students made the choice to be Alcohol Free!
- 406 students said yes to a commitment to maintain making Right Choices!
- 248 students said yes to join a Right Choices Support Group to help maintain their commitment to make Right Choices!
- 198 students came back to the After School Events!
- 52 students made decisions to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives at the After School Outreach Events!
We are recruiting and equipping caring adults to join us and wrap their arms around these students, to help them maintain the Positive Right Choices they made and help the young new believers in Christ, grow in their relationship with Him!
ACTION – YOU CAN HELP!
- Please pray with us for all of these young lives that we were blessed by God to impact. Pray for their parents and family members, educators, pastors, children and youth ministry workers, community youth organizations and others that are striving to help students maintain making Positive Choices!
- Prayerfully consider becoming a Mentor/Discipler of 1, 2 or a small group of students
- Prayerfully consider volunteering to help us in our After School Programs
- Share a donation to help us continue Raising Up Young Servant Leaders throughout 2022 and beyond!
